Don't They Know Tomorrow Never Comes?
I sincerely hope that the above observation from one of my favorite singers will prove untrue, as tomorrow promises to be wonderful. I am referring, of course, to the forecast. Tomorrow the high is 63 degrees!
But why do I post again on the subject of my last entry? Because it is my favorite topic other than guitars. I love cold weather...but I've said all that I can say about it.
I have just recently finished reading (for the bazillionth time) The Scottish Chiefs. Without a doubt one of the greatest books of all time. it is the story (if you haven't guessed yet) of William Wallace and Robert the Bruce, and the war for the independence of Scotland. Certainly one of my favorite periods in history, not only because of the Honor and Heroism of these men, which was considerable. Even more important to me is the family tradition that we are descended from the royal house of Bruce. Now, as much as I would like to continue rhapsodizing on the merits of this great book, I must bid you farewell.
Good Day...

Aye! Hail, fellow royal! This house of Bruce bids ye muckle cheer.
Oh, and psssttt... should you ever mention the Porter book to Dan the Bruce, gird up your loins for a zingy discourse on the historical errors therein. A ripping good read, he will readily admit... but, well, don't say I didn't warn you.
