It's Just What I Do...

Go To Bed, Dream of You...

so here I am sitting here thinking about March of 2002, when I was younger, so much younger than today. What brings this to mind at this moment is the music coming from my computer speakers. Country music, bombarding me with memories, things that I will never forget. spending that long cold night, huddled next to a small heater, wishing morning would come sooner. It brings to mind that picture, the one of all the people standing in the Harmony Hill kitchen, even indoors we were bundled up in coats, scarves...the very messy s'mores, the drinks which we were only to consume "in Moderation"...all of it paint itself within my mind, and I can't turn it off.

but I don't think I would if I could. These I just mentioned are some of my best memories...the things I most love to remember. Sometimes I wish I could go back and live through them again. Not to change anything, but just so I could remember more clearly.

I'm going for the photo album...it's been nice spilling to you :)

Good Day...

Don't They Know Tomorrow Never Comes?

I sincerely hope that the above observation from one of my favorite singers will prove untrue, as tomorrow promises to be wonderful. I am referring, of course, to the forecast. Tomorrow the high is 63 degrees!

But why do I post again on the subject of my last entry? Because it is my favorite topic other than guitars. I love cold weather...but I've said all that I can say about it.

I have just recently finished reading (for the bazillionth time) The Scottish Chiefs. Without a doubt one of the greatest books of all time. it is the story (if you haven't guessed yet) of William Wallace and Robert the Bruce, and the war for the independence of Scotland. Certainly one of my favorite periods in history, not only because of the Honor and Heroism of these men, which was considerable. Even more important to me is the family tradition that we are descended from the royal house of Bruce. Now, as much as I would like to continue rhapsodizing on the merits of this great book, I must bid you farewell.

Good Day...
